The 19th European Literacy Conference started in the afternoon. It was mostly a welcome and opening speeches. Some interesting beginnings. There was also Klagenfurt entertainment.
We had a late dinner on Lake Worthersee--very lovely.

Day 9--Klagenfurt and Conference
We had a nice morning wandering around Klagenfurt and learning how to use the bus system. There are umbrellas hanging all over town and I haven't found out why yet.
