Day 6--Bratislava, Slovakia

Took a day trip by boat to the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava.  It was a beautiful day to be on the Danube.

The town was full of contrasts--a charming old town and then super modern new developments in walking distance.

There was building going on everywhere.  In this shot, you see the old castle on the right and lots of new high rises going up on the waterfront, each with its own crane.
