Day 14--Getting Oriented to Budapest

We had a leisurely day of walking the city and figuring out how to get around Budapest.  Our waitress at breakfast turned us on to a vey up-scale old-world shopping mall that was going out of business.  We bought Chanel products at half price.

We strolled through a few interesting small art galleries and ended up at St. Stephen's Cathedral.

There was one wedding after another taking place today.

We walked across the Chain Bridge--the first bridge to connect Buda and Pest and spent a bit of time in Buda.

We got upgraded at our hotel to an executive room and they have food all day in the executive lounge.  We had a quiet light dinner in the hotel.  You can see the executive lounge in this photo.
