We met a nice couple on the train from Kuwait who were on their honeymoon. It was fun talking with them. They are staying at our hotel--The Corinthia. It's an amazingly lovely, old world hotel. It opening in 1896 as the Grand Hotel Royal. Here's what their original post cards looked like.
Reminds me of the movie the Grand Budapest Hotel. Here's a view looking down from one of the walkways on the way to our room.
The weather is really hot here, so I think we'll be planning a lot of inside sightseeing.
